Future Business Leaders of America Middle Level -FBLA-ML- sponsor Jill Verslues

FBLA for middle school is part of the largest national organization that prepares students for careers in business. Our club develops leadership skills in students by participating in local and school community service projects and through state wide competitions. We have school committees who help coordinate the school cafeteria Power Point and our annual Caring for Kids project.  We meet on a monthly basis before school. During the spring, FBLA travels to compete in the Missouri State Leadership Conference.  FBLA ML is for 7th and 8th grade.

Student Council - STUCO sponsor Jason Wise and McKenzie Bennett

The BMS Student Council provides leadership opportunities to students in grades 5-8.  Seventh and Eighth graders are eligible to run for one of the top four officer positions (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer) during our annual spring elections.  Representatives are chosen from each grade level.  The BMS STUCO divides its time between running our school spirit store, operating our event concession stand, and supporting various charitable organizations.  STUCO students have the opportunity to hone their leadership skills as they serve their school.
